At Nobly, we are looking for a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer who wants to help build and operate the platform behind business-critical digital solutions used across the Nordic region.
You will play a key role in strengthening our CI/CD, container, and observability setup while helping shape the future of AI- and agent-driven engineering. We offer a strong technical environment, high ownership, and close collaboration across our teams.
About Nobly
Nobly is a Scandinavian software company specializing in digital process and document management solutions. We support some of the largest organizations in the Nordic region across banking, finance, insurance, pensions, and the public sector in digitalizing business-critical workflows.
With offices in Aarhus, Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm, and Helsinki, Nobly brings together more than 40 specialists across the Nordics. The company is known for its strong professional expertise, entrepreneurial mindset, and informal culture, and has been recognized with the Børsen Gazelle award four consecutive years: 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.
About the role
As our Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer, you will help define and operate the platform that builds, deploys, monitors, and supports Nobly's applications across tenants and environments. You will work alongside our existing DevOps team and product developers to improve deployment safety, developer experience, automation, and operational visibility.
You will be part of turning platform decisions into working systems: container delivery, release orchestration, health-gated rollouts, observability defaults, and reliable automation across Azure, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub Actions. We are also investing seriously in agent-driven engineering - using LLMs and agents to monitor logs, review code, react to PR events, and automate operational toil - and you will play a leading role in shaping how that capability is built and adopted across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, with deployment orchestration in Octopus Deploy
- Build and operate container-based deployment workflows using Azure Container Registry and Azure App Service
- Evolve and support deploy processes for multi-tenant, multi-environment releases across Nordic customer environments
- Improve release engineering: release trains, promotion flows, rollback paths, and hotfix handling
- Own and improve deployment safety, including health validation, slot-based rollouts, and production recovery
- Strengthen observability across Loki, Grafana, and Azure-native monitoring - metrics, health endpoints, alert quality, and SLOs
- Design and build agent-driven workflows that augment our DevOps practice - agents that watch logs, review code, react to repository events, and automate diagnostics - and help the team adopt them safely
- Work with developers across .NET, Python, Next.js, and Keycloak-based services
- Improve scripting and automation in PowerShell, Bash, and Python, and help us move toward Infrastructure as Code patterns
- Standardize runtime configuration and per-tenant deployment patterns
Must have
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (App Service, ACR, identity, networking)
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ideally in GitHub Actions
- Strong experience with containers and application delivery
- Solid operational knowledge of Azure App Service, deployment slots, and health-gated rollouts
- Strong scripting in PowerShell; comfortable with Bash and Python
- Experience owning application deployment workflows end-to-end, not just infrastructure provisioning
- Experience with release engineering, rollback strategies, and deployment validation
- Strong written communication and documentation habits
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, software engineering, ICT, or a related technical field — or equivalent professional experience
- Professional working English; Danish or another Scandinavian language is a plus
Nice to have
- Experience with Octopus Deploy or comparable release management tools
- Experience with Loki, Grafana, or similar observability stacks
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Bicep, Terraform, or ARM)
- Experience integrating Keycloak or similar identity platforms into deployment pipelines
- Hands-on experience building or operating agentic / LLM-assisted developer tooling - MCP servers, agent loops over CI/CD events, AI-assisted code review, or similar
We are looking for someone who..
.. is open, collaborative, and eager to help others succeed. You enjoy working closely with developers across functions, communicate clearly, share knowledge willingly, and take ownership while still being a strong team player.
You are comfortable in an environment where priorities can shift, and you bring structure, calm, and good judgment to both day-to-day improvements and production situations. You are curious, proactive, and motivated by making life easier for the team through better automation, tooling, and processes — and you are genuinely interested in where AI and agents can take our craft next.
At Nobly, you will get
- The opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI in real customer environments — not just proof-of-concepts
- Significant influence on solutions, technology choices, and how we adopt agent-driven development as a company
- An environment where ideas quickly become reality
- A hybrid work setup
- A company in strong growth with a solid market position
Does this sound like you? Send us your CV together with a short description of your motivation.
